Job Description

Cardno is seeking a Archaeologist in our Riverview, FL office.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

> Field duties may include participation in Phase I and Phase II projects and may necessitate out-of-town travel
> Laboratory duties may include artifact processing, classification, and curation, artifact photography, database management, mapping, and report layout

Job Requirements


> BA in anthropology, archaeology, or a related field is required
> The preferred applicant will have attended a field school
> Must demonstrate knowledge of and familiarity with survey and testing methods in the Southeast US
> Experience in a supervisory role is desired and demonstrated experience in a field setting is required
> This position will be based out of our Riverview, FL office. This involves the ability to work outdoors in hot or cold conditions, lift heavy objects, and walk for long periods of time
> Extensive travel may be required
