Job Description

Cardno is a professional infrastructure and environmental services company, with expertise in the development and improvement of physical and social infrastructure for communities around the world.

Cardno is currently seeking a Field Technician in the Houston area in the construction materials testing (CMT) and geotechnical engineering field.

This position is best suited for graduate engineers or engineering students in their final year of study, or non-tertiary educated persons with at least 2 years of experience in the construction industry with some exposure to ASTM procedures.

Job Requirements

Essential qualities for the successful applicants:

> Eagerness to learn.
> Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with reasonable accommodation.

> Current valid driver’s license.
> ACI certification is a plus.
> Construction experience is a plus.
> Drive to succeed.
> Ability to work in a team environment.
> Respectful and punctual.
> Excellent communication skills.
> Flexibility in work schedules such as overtime, nights, and weekends as needed to meet business requirements is a must.
