We are currently seeking applicants who are in the early, mid and advanced stages of their careers for our San Francisco office.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Assisting with, managing, or providing technical oversight for exposure assessments, human health risk assessments and industrial hygiene program evaluations
• Assisting with and managing litigation cases involving occupational exposure and disease claims. Potential to serve as testifying expert for higher career levels
• Conducting desktop research including literature searches, and critically evaluating and summarizing scientific information, government regulations, and industrial hygiene assessment reports
• Evaluating job histories and work tasks to characterize historical exposure scenarios
• Assisting with the production of technical work products, presentations and proposals
• Performing field sampling work
• Some travel expected

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements (entry level or higher):

• BS, MPH, or MS in Industrial Hygiene, Exposure Science, Safety, or Engineering
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
• Familiarity with occupational health and safety regulations
• Aptitude for multi-tasking among various projects
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Demonstrated passion for occupational health, safety and the environment

Additional Qualifications for Preferential Consideration
(some combination of these qualifications required for mid-career level or higher):

• Government, industry, or prior consulting experience
• EHS/IH program implementation experience
• Research experience
• Auditing experience
• Ergonomics experience
• Working or advanced knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations
• HAZWOPER or OSHA 30-hour training
• Previous contributions to the scientific or trade literature
