Cardno Government Services is seeking a Senior Program Manager based out of our Charlottesville, Virginia office. This position will be deployed to Wiesbaden, Germany.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
>Key position as Manager and leader of project teams involved in assignments primarily for large, high profile Department of Defense program initiatives
>Direct team members (employees and sub-consultants) at all levels of contract administration
>Consults with clients to determine project plans and schedules
>Plans layouts of projects and integrates component elements into unified design for client review and approval
>Maintains positive client relationships
>Prepares studies and reports
>Directly supervises numerous employees and at times subcontractors involved in the project
>Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company’s policies and applicable laws
>Mentor and provide leadership to staff and project teams.

Job Requirements


>Ability to exercise professional discretion and judgment
>Master’s degree in Environmental Science or Engineering
>10 years’ experience in Environmental Planning or Engineering consulting
>Strong client satisfaction track record
>Demonstrated commitment and focus on Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC)
>Ability to communicate effectively both in written and oral presentation
>Ability to multi-task and establish priorities
>Ability to maintain organization in a changing environment
>Exhibits initiative, responsibility, flexibility and leadership
>Possess a thorough knowledge of contract administration and office procedures
>Ability to use extensive working knowledge of all relevant procedures necessary to complete contract documents to obtain permits
>Ability to use working knowledge of all sub-consultant work to maintain efficiencies and meet deadlines
>Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
>Ability to write reports, business correspondence
>Business development expertise for federal clients, particularly DoD
>Experience with DoD planning and budget/contracting procedures
>Excellent technical writing and oral communication skills
>Superior leadership and management skills
