Are you a proposal coordinator looking for your next challenge, a place to grow and take your career to the next level? We’re looking for a proactive contributor to become part of our national team and join our Proposal Center of Excellence. The position is located in Glendale, CA.

This person will be an important contributor on a national team serving as a coordinator to our United States based proposal managers/business development support teams; providing support and ensuring delivery of high-quality proposals, and presentations. The successful candidate will work alongside others proposal team members and coordinate technical resources in the planning, development and completion of assigned tasks, including development of plans for proposal preparation, proposal outlines, schedules, assignments, graphics, and themes.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

> Integrate and work directly with various level of staff to carry out the Cardno message through proposal development
> Engaging and being proactive in internal relationship building with key technical leaders
> Monitor compliance with Request for Proposals/Qualifications (RFP/RFQs)
> Write, coordinate, and assemble proposal sections
> Schedule and coordinate status Meetings/teleconferences and draft/final reviews
> Coordinate development of oral presentations

Job Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

> Bachelor’s degree or diploma in marketing, journalism, public relations, professional communications, or a closely related writing field
> Three to five years of applicable experience
> Advanced skills in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
> Knowledge of government contracts and RFPs
> Excellent coordination and communication skills, strong technical writing skills, editorial and quality assurance expertise and experience leading a team
> Maintain close attention to detail and meet schedules under deadline
> Possess a good understanding of document production process (review cycles and functions of document processing, editing, graphics design, and final assembly)
> Possess good document management skills; ability to maintain proposal budget and schedule
> Ability to coordinate logistics and proposal team input
> Assist with development of project descriptions, resumes and schedules
> Schedule and conduct proposal progress status meetings
> Have a strong attention to detail and accuracy
> Ability to work with minimal supervision; self-motivated
> Ability to work in a team environment
> Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship
> Prefer experience in the A/E/C industry
> Flexibility and willingness to work extended hours and weekends, when necessary, including some holidays during proposal preparation efforts
> Advanced skills with Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft applications - (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) for proposal layout, graphics, and production
> Possess solid interpersonal skills; must be able to interface effectively and productively with technical staff, graphics designers, document processors, and editor/writers
