Cardno PPI currently has an opening for an in office QA/QC Coordinator in Houston, Texas. If you meet the requirements listed below, please send your resume to the Resource Coordinator at

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

> Provide surveillance in accordance with customer-approved Quality Plans
> Ensure that specified activities meet customer specifications, applicable industry standards and codes, and supplier requirements
> Coordinate quality control activities including project initiation, delivery, and conclusion
> Review quality inspection personnel qualifications, select inspectors, monitor projects, and coordinate billing and collection
> Develop, implement, and maintain a QA/QC program tailored to meet the customer’s needs
> Act as single point of contact for assigned customers; identify and solve all QA/QC issues
> Communicate to customers inspection requirements and services provided
> Assist customers with service decisions
> Provide regular summary reports, both externally and internally, that include key findings, metrics, and value adds
> Supervise, lead, and communicate customer job expectations to the field technicians
> Ensure best practices and customer guidelines are recorded and distributed
> Provide feedback to field technicians and ensure reports are cataloged to internal and external guidelines
> Ensure planning and operations calendars are current
> Provide end-of-hitch/end-of-project summary reports
> Comply with Cardno PPI Quality Management System and its documented information
> Review and approve QA/QC reports and submit them to the customer

Job Requirements


> 5 years of experience with NDT methods applied to the oil and gas industry
> 3 years of oil and gas industry experience required (3 years of NDT experience preferred)
> Previous experience managing people to achieve a goal
> Experience with implementing and enforcing quality systems and procedures
> Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
> Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
> Must be able to pass a drug test and FBI background check
> Must have a valid driver’s license
> College degree with a science or engineering core, preferred
> Knowledge and experience in mid and downstream equipment, preferred
> Self-motivated and reliable
> Make and keep company and customer commitments
> Ability to communicate with multiple levels of employee
> Maintain a high level of integrity and ethics
> Must abide by Company safety policies at all times
> Responsible for all activities performed on location
> Knowledge of field NDT/NDE equipment
> Basic computer skills
